Tucson Change Movement is a grassroots volunteer organization governed by a non paid, volunteer committee of representative appointees from each of the City of Tucson’s Council Member Ward Offices, Office of the Mayor, Downtown Tucson Merchants, Fourth Avenue Merchants Association (FAMA), Main Gate Square, Park Tucson, Startup Tucson, Downtown Innovation District and the City of Tucson Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD).
Committee members oversee the promotion of the program, review requests for funds, and make funding recommendations to the Community Foundation of Southern Arizona for the disbursement of funds donated through the use of convenient collection devices, re-purposed parking meters, in-store collection devices, online recurring donations, and mobile enabled donation interface applications.
